This is a page of links, info and resources for the incredible SAW line of digital audio software multitrack recorders/editors - formerly brought to us by Innovative Quality Software (aka "IQS"). The earlier SAWPro, SAWPlus32/SAW32/SAWLite32, SAWPlus and SAW Classic products were discontinued when IQS closed its doors on November 14, 2001. SAW creator Bob Lentini, under the new business name of RML Labs, continues work updating the latest SAW products, SAWStudio & SAWStudioLite. Information regarding these latest developments can be seen at the SAWStudio website.
The SAW User's forum is now located at news://mail.cls.at/iqsoft.
There are lots of very experienced SAW users there who are quick to offer help so if you have any tech support questions it's a fantastic resource. Many thanks to Guenter Matejicek for hosting the newsgroup.A new web based SAW forum moderated by Tim Kirk, formerly of IQSystems, and Lewis Demetri, formerly with IQS tech support and now a SAW reseller as River Poly Media has opened at http://www.sawstudiouser.net
Author's Note - May 24, 2003
It's been a long while since the last formal update of these pages - mainly because we have been busy with other things - but also because the SAWStudio.com web site has been rapidly developed and was providing a lot of the resources and info that was being hosted here while IQS was restructuring into RML Labs. All we can say is - what a difference a year and a half makes! When IQS closed its doors there was a lot of confusion as to whether SAW products would continue to exist in any form - although initial plans seemed to be to make SAWStudio available in turn key form only. Since then SAWStudio has returned with a vengeance - not only is it still available for purchase as downloadable software but in the past year there have been five major updates, eight maintenance releases, numerous third party plug-ins and utilities developed, and a growing number activities from within the SAW community .LATEST NEWS - September 15, 2003:
